This situation doesn't come up very often in the South. When it does it's always a
pleasure boater and especially pontoon boaters. The fishermen are usually nice and
helpful, but quite clear and
firm. Ramp etiquette is easily explained and generally
received in the same friendly manner that is offered. I have never had an argument or
encountered anyone that was uncooperative. Honestly, they just don't know any better.
