This is from Robert Reddell who won..."What an awesome time y'all, and thanks to all the sponsors for the great prizes given to the soldiers.

Got a story about the girl on my team, Dana.  She had been fishing 2 or 3 times in her life, and had never caught anything.  We worked an area that looked like it should have fish, and finally figured out the bite.  I gave her a hook and she tied it (pretty good improved clinch knot) and I rigged the bait.  It wasn't long before we heard fish splashing, and she boated her first fish ever, here's the pic.  We moved to another spot, and about the 5th cast, she said "I'm hung".  I turned the boat, and a 3.5 lber went to jumping.  Line was in the sticks, and I didn't want to pull much harder, she was fishing with 6 or 8 lb test.  Evan was close by, saw what was going on and came to help.  He was able to pull a little from a different direction, the fish came up, he lipped it and put it in my net.  She ended up catching another short fish before it was over, and she did confirm that she is hooked now!  So not only was the fun there taking the military, the fun of seeing someone catch their very first fish, then follow it up with a 3.5 lber??

Just doesn't get much better than that.

Can't wait for the fall, Joe and Rusty? ran a smooth event and I'm pretty sure everyone had a great time."

Great Job Joe and all of the other folks that turned out to support the Brave Men & Women of our Armed Services.  Looks like everyone had a great time.
