Pitching/Flipping Set up/Different Fishing Presentations
« on: June 15, 2012, 10:49:33 AM »
Recently I have been really getting into getting different rods for different presentations of fishing. I have always had a Jig set up, a Cranking set up, and a plastic set up. and Now I have added a Pitching/Flipping setup .

For Cranking I use a 7'0 MH Fast Action Bionic Blade by BPS with the Johnny Morris Carbon Black Baitcaster
For Jigs I have a 7'0 Hvy Fast Action Bionic Blade by BPS with a Johnny Morris Signature Series Baitaster
For Certain Plastics I have a generic spinning reel which I am upgrading shortly
And my Newest Addition to the familiy is a 7'6 Hvy Med-Fast action Carrot Stick Wild Micro with a Shimano Chronarch Baitcaster.

So far so good for the new set up. I'm getting pretty good with keeping the cast/bait low across the water as it flips out and under docks and ledges. Just some fine tuning.

What is everyone's preference when it comes to the different fishing presentations?

I've heard alot of good things about the curado's....but not the new ones. They feel like they are all plastic and that I'm going to break them in my hand while holding it.
